Books and Folio
Tree Studies Folio
A folio is a way to collect a group of prints at affordable pricing. Not quite a book, nor a portfolio, it's an unbound collection of prints on a given subject. The folio sits on a shelf like a book, but it gives the owner the option of hand-holding and viewing individual prints or matting and framing them.
The prints come in a die-cut enclosure that allows an image to come through its cover. I sign the title page and hand-number the colophon.
The printing and assembly processes use only archival, acid-free materials to protect the life of the prints and pages inside. Each folio is shipped in a sealed, transparent sleeve.

The Edge of Night
The Edge of Night contains over 50 images from my series of color photographs taken at twilight, mainly in New York City. Industrial areas, parks, and residential streets shed their daylight dullness as the sky relinquishes its light to the street lamps, car lights, lighted windows and electric signs of the night. 10x8 in.
This 8 x 8 in. hardcover book contains 14 images from my series on "the city in the clouds." It is printed on photographic paper.
USD $20.00. Includes shipping within United States.
Trees, Rocks, and Water
Photographs of the Pacific Northwest and the Northeast Coast
This 10x8 in., 38-image book is the result of two short trips in the summers of 2009 and 2010. The first was to Oregon, Washington and Vancouver Island, the second to the mid-coast of Maine and to Rhode Island. In many ways the northwest and northeast regions are similar. Forests of tall evergreens dominate the landscape. Spectacular rock formations jut out at the coastlines. Mosses and ferns carpet the woodland floor, and lichens grow everywhere on rocks and trees. Because of their different geologies and climates, the regions are also markedly different. With these photographs, I have tried to capture the character and beauty of each region's landscape. Sometimes the beauty is dramatic, and sometimes it is quiet and often unnoticed.
